Lance Vaneps

Lance Vaneps possesses extensive experience in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and military operations. Vaneps began a career in the Army National Guard, serving in various roles, including as an M1A1 Tank Operator and UAS operator with mission command ratings for the RQ-7b Shadow 200. Following military service, Vaneps worked with AAI Corporation, where significant experience was gained in training and operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Vaneps' education includes a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from the University of North Dakota, which further complements expertise in UAS. Recent positions include Assistant Chief UAS Pilot at UPS Flight Forward, focused on training management, and a current role as Flight Test Specialist at DroneUp, leading complex flight missions. Vaneps has also contributed to UAS training and research initiatives throughout the career.
