Tom Walker

Tom Walker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and strategic development across various sectors. Currently serving as CEO of DroneUp since November 2016, Walker has been instrumental in matching missions with small Unmanned Aerial System pilots through an innovative Mission Match platform. Prior to this role, Walker contributed as a Board Member for the Virginia Board of Workforce Development from November 2014 to December 2019, providing strategic guidance on workforce alignment with employer needs. Walker also held the position of President at Web Teks, Inc. from November 1999 to January 2017, where a focus on digital transformation and user experience was paramount. Earlier in career, Walker served as an Officer and Nuclear Power Plant Operator and Instructor in the United States Navy from August 1985 to December 2001.
