Colin Thompkins is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in software development and monetization strategies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Dropbox since November 2025, Colin leads the Monetization team. Prior to this role, Colin was the Director of Software Engineering at Indeed, where significant achievements included spearheading the development of a micro-service based Monetization platform that supported over $5 billion in annual revenue and facilitating an automated migration for millions of advertisers. Colin's earlier tenure at Microsoft included various leadership roles, such as Principal Group Engineering Manager for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform and Senior Software Engineering Manager for Azure DevOps, where notable contributions driven included the design of user management systems and enhancements to the Power Platform.
