Dongjie Chen

Dongjie Chen is a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on privacy-aware synthetic data generation and knowledge transfer for machine learning, under the guidance of Professors Chen-Nee Chuah. Additionally, Dongjie has served as a teaching assistant for the EEC161 Probabilistic Analysis course across multiple semesters. In the summer of 2023, Dongjie worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Dropbox, contributing to projects in AI recommendations, large language models, search, and natural language processing. Dongjie holds a Master of Science degree and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis, with an expected completion date in 2024.
