Eric Shobe

Eric Shobe is an accomplished Hardware Engineering Manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. At Dropbox since October 2018, Eric oversees all hardware-related initiatives. Concurrently, Eric serves as the OCP Project Lead for Hardware Management at the Open Compute Project Foundation, focusing on designing and specifying interoperable hardware solutions. Prior experience includes leading hardware teams at Salesforce to develop next-generation platforms and optimizing cost-efficiency in collaboration with supply chain management. At Oracle, Eric was instrumental in managing hardware engineering teams and developing significant server technologies. Eric's career began at Sun Microsystems with a focus on server validation and the creation of automated test platforms.
