Huanchen Lu

Huanchen (Craig) Lu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in analytics and model creation. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Dropbox since October 2022, Huanchen previously held the same title at Uber from November 2018 to September 2022, and worked as a Data Analyst at DiDi for a brief period in 2017. Huanchen's expertise includes developing machine learning models such as Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, and Random Forests to classify negative comments, along with enhancing model performance through hyper-parameter tuning and cross-validation. Huanchen holds a Master of Science in Information Science/Studies from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
