Jilt Sebastian

Jilt Sebastian, PhD, is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer currently at Dropbox since August 2025. Prior to this role, Jilt served as a Senior Research Scientist at Mobius Labs, focusing on audio-related features for multimodal LLMs. Jilt's experience includes working as a Research Engineer at Telepathy Labs, where the focus was on speech services, including emotion recognition and speech separation. As a Pre Doctoral Fellow at Idiap Research Institute, Jilt was involved in developing deep learning models for speech and audio. Jilt's academic background includes a PhD and Masters in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.
