Max Khatsenko

Max Khatsenko is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Dropbox since February 2022, Max previously held positions at BLUE ORIGIN as a Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included qualifying the New Shepard suborbital launch vehicle and designing hydraulic systems for the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle. Academic contributions include inventing a rotational shape memory alloy actuator while a Graduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and leading the KitCube lunar CubeSat project. Max's background also features internships at Clyde Space Ltd, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, alongside officiating NCAA intramural sports at UCLA. Max holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA.
