Sid Wighe

Sid Wighe is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in developing advanced technology platforms. Currently leading engineering initiatives at Dropbox, Sid oversees retrieval and content understanding, significantly enhancing AI-driven experiences. Previously, as a Senior Engineering Manager at Roblox, Sid enhanced the Avatar Marketplace's search and recommendation systems, benefitting millions of users. Sid's expertise in AI and search was further honed at Amazon Web Services, where leadership of search and accuracy ML teams drove substantial improvements for customers. Prior to that, Sid contributed to user experience optimization at Uber Eats, mentored future engineers at Hunter College, and led teams at AppNexus and Microsoft focused on data management and advertising technologies. Sid holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
