Changhwan Oh

Changhwan Oh is a security engineer with extensive experience in network security and anomaly detection. Currently serving as a Founding Security Engineer at Dropzone AI since April 2023, Changhwan previously held the position of Security Engineer III at ExtraHop from July 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included researching and developing machine learning models for network anomalies. Prior to that role, Changhwan worked as a Security Engineer within the Security R&D Department at ExtraHop and gained teaching experience as a Teacher Assistant for Computer Networks & Distributed Applications at the University of Washington Information School. In addition, Changhwan contributed to financial management as Treasurer for the ISACA Student Group, overseeing budgets and fundraising events. Changhwan began professional development as a Security Engineer Intern at ExtraHop, focusing on network anomaly detection algorithms and penetration testing. Changhwan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Washington, attained in 2018.
