Gavin Willoughby is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in the live event industry. Currently serving as the Studio Technical Manager at DRPG since September 2012, Gavin oversees the technical operations of Studio 212, addressing the diverse requirements for events and client needs. Prior roles include Facilities, Production and Electrical Technician and Senior Show Technician, specializing in video, lighting, sound, and rigging. Previously, Gavin worked as an Event Technician at the University of Warwick Students' Union, managing the design and execution of staging, lighting, sound, and video for a wide range of events. Earlier experience includes a position as Technician at Cardiff International Arena, focusing on lighting, truss installation, and video operations for touring events and corporate conferences. Gavin holds a degree in Live Event Technology from the University of South Wales and A-Levels in Communication and Media Studies from Churchdown Secondary School.
