Matthew Franks

Matthew Franks is an accomplished event management professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Group Director of Events at drp since June 2005, Matthew oversees Project Directors, Producers, showcallers, and two key account teams, delivering a variety of live events, including conferences and brand experiences. Prior experience includes leadership roles as Senior Project Director and Head of Project Management at drp, managing a team of 18 project managers and providing comprehensive project management services. Recently appointed CEO of The Special Event Company, Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and Economics from the University of Worcester and an HND in Hospitality Management from Worcester College of Technology.
