Jay Bumgarner has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they were a Research Intern at NASA Langley Research Center, where they assisted in a study of ceramic composites in simulated flight and re-entry conditions. In 2011, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Joy Global, where they were responsible for supplying new part programs and maintaining the current CNC program workload. In 2013, they worked as a Production Supervisor at FS-Elliott, where they acted as a shift supervisor for Machining, Packaging, Test, and Paint departments. Since 2016, they have worked at Drucker Diagnostics in various roles, including Product Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Assurance/Manufacturing Engineer. In these roles, they have provided tactical and strategic direction of various product lines, hosted and participated in joint meetings, and interfaced regularly between departments.
Jay Bumgarner attended West Virginia University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering.
