Tom Mallison has had a long and successful career in the engineering and healthcare industries. Tom began their career in 1987 as a Nuclear Submarines Operator in the U.S. Navy. In 2000, they joined Penn State University as an Associate Director for the Undersea Weapons Office, where they orchestrated a facility move for the entire organization with an average of one day lost work per engineer and $100,000 under budget. Tom also directed the development of an organizational staffing plan to add 50 engineers in 6 months to ensure critical weapons programs would finish on-schedule and on-budget. In 2010, Tom Mallison joined Drucker Diagnostics as Director of Product and Business Development, where they identified several major business opportunities for the company and executed the development and launch of their next generation hematology product. In 2015, they joined Optum Executive Health Resources as Director of Strategic Product Innovations, where they identified and assessed new strategic, related growth opportunities and worked with the business leader to develop new products. In 2017, Tom Mallison joined Optum 360 as Vice President of Product Management, where they were responsible for ensuring that the portfolio of solutions meets or exceeds revenue and market share goals for enterprise or end to end revenue cycle customers. Finally, in 2020, they became President of Drucker Diagnostics, where they are working to be the world’s leading provider of customized clinical centrifuges by producing private labeled products for over 150 corporate partners in over 80 countries around the world.

Tom Mallison attended Penn State University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Tom then returned to Penn State University from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2007, they completed their Master of Business Administration at Penn State University. In 2013, they attended the ExecuStar Program for Small and Middle Market Executive Leadership.
