Simo Hellsten

Simo Hellsten has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Simo began their career in 2003 as the Owner of Mediasiili, where they managed the business until the present. In 2006, they took on the role of Project Manager at KATU Civil Society Conflict Prevention Network, which lasted until 2007. Simo then joined Osuuskunta Viestintäverso in 2003 as a Designer & Financial Manager, where they contributed to Drupal site building and development until 2018. In 2016, they also joined Kepa as a Digital Producer / Web Developer, specializing in Drupal 8 web development and maintenance. Simo later became a team leader before the organization changed its name to Fingo. Simo worked at Fingo from 2018 to 2020 as a Web Communications Specialist / Developer. Their most recent position is as a Drupal Developer at Druid Oy since October 2020.

Simo Hellsten obtained a BSc in Computer Science from Helsingin yliopisto, where they studied from 1998 to 2011. Simo also pursued additional education in Computer Science from an unspecified institution between 2002 and 2003. In terms of certifications, Simo obtained an Acquia Certified Developer - Drupal 9 certification from Acquia in April 2021 and earned a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2020.
