Ben Sutton

Ben Sutton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in system design and project management across various aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as System Design Authority at Drumgrange Ltd since July 2025, Ben has previously held significant roles including Engineering Authority at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities encompassed managing functional teams to achieve engineering strategies for Platform Management Systems. Ben's tenure at BAE Systems as Engineering Manager involved overseeing teams to deliver integrated solutions for MOD projects. Notable earlier roles include Commodity Manager and Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Collins Aerospace, achieving substantial cost reductions on the Airbus A350 Galley program, and Project Design Engineer at Senior Aerospace BWT, leading engineering activities for AgustaWestland Helicopters. Ben Sutton holds a Master’s degree in Design and Operations Engineering from Durham University and a Bachelor’s degree in Motorsport Engineering from the University of Lancashire.
