John Coffey

Mr. Coffey began his career with the company in 2000 as Executive Assistant to the President of Mining, and served in operations and supply chain management assignments prior to assuming his current position. He is responsible for the company’s Supply Chain Management, Perry Supply, and Aviation. Before he joined Drummond, Mr. Coffey was employed by ARCO Coal Company for eighteen years where he held positions in engineering, operations, and business development including a four-year assignment in China. Mr. Coffey earned a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Engineering from the University of Alabama and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received an Outstanding Alumnus Award from the UAB School of Business and he also served on the Advisory Board for the UAB School of Business, Department of Finance. Mr. Coffey resides in Birmingham with his wife Daphen and they are the proud parents of three daughters and two sons.
