Gabe Ballard

Gabe Ballard is a startup general counsel with a diverse background in product, intellectual property, and privacy law. They achieved general counsel status within four years of beginning their in-house career and have successfully negotiated key commercial contracts with major tech and finance companies. Currently serving as Head of Legal at DrumWave Inc., Gabe previously worked as in-house counsel at Crowdz and has extensive experience in legal negotiations and compliance within the fintech sector. Gabe holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and multiple associate degrees in graphic and interactive design from De Anza College. As a member of IAPP and TechGC, Gabe is passionate about applying liberal arts principles to technology in an ethical manner.
