Simón Pinilla

Simón Pinilla has held a variety of positions in their professional career. In 2012, they began working as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Organic, General, and Inorganic Chemistry at the Universidad de los Andes. In 2015, they worked as an Encoder for Natural Sciences (SABER-PRO 2015) at ICFES (Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación). From 2016 to 2018, they held various positions at BONUS Banca de Inversión S.A.S., including Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst II, Financial Analyst I, and Junior Financial Analyst. From 2018 to 2020, Simón worked at Uber as an Operations Manager for Uber Eats in Ecuador and Bolivia. In 2020, they joined SumUp as a Head of Growth for Colombia, Senior Manager of Growth for Colombia, and Manager of Growth for Colombia. Simón is currently employed at Tembici as the Director and General Manager of Colombia, as well as a Co-founder of DRUO.

Simón Pinilla started their educational journey in 2011, when they enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program in Chemistry at Universidad de Los Andes. Simón then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering at the same university, which they completed in 2016. In 2015, they also completed a Management Minor in Business Administration and Management, General at Universidad de Los Andes. Finally, they earned a Master in Corporate Finance from EUDE Business School in 2018.
