Rono Jacob is a seasoned product management professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Management at Druva since January 2015, Rono leads the Druva Cloud Platform, focusing on data protection and driving Product Led Growth strategies. Previous roles at Druva include Director of Product Management for CloudRanger and various positions in product development and management, where Rono contributed to the launch of multiple data protection offerings in public cloud environments and SaaS applications. Prior to Druva, Rono worked at BMC Software, holding senior positions such as Senior Product Manager and Staff Specialist Product Manager, where responsibilities included patch management, infrastructure automation, and product partner relations. Rono's career began in software engineering roles at companies such as BladeLogic, VERITAS Software, and Datamatics, complemented by an MS in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a BE in Computers from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
