Daniel Burkat is a skilled software developer with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently employed at DRW since January 2019, Daniel previously held a data scientist position at CognitiveChem from July to December 2018. Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, where the M.Eng thesis focused on developing diagnostic techniques for studying the interaction of electric arcs. Additionally, Daniel served as a graduate teaching assistant for engineering courses and led the Chem-E Car team at McGill, managing a group to create mechanical designs and software solutions. Noteworthy contributions include summer research resulting in two publications and proficiency in simulation using the COMSOL CFD package. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from McGill University.
