Danqi Wang

Danqi Wang is a Senior Software Engineer at DRW, specializing in high-frequency trading development since October 2017. Previously, Danqi held the position of Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from November 2014 to October 2017, and also served as an Associate in front office development. Prior to that, Danqi worked as a Vice President in backtesting system and infrastructure development at a Hedge Fund from April 2012 to November 2014. Danqi's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, where research focused on large-scale Peer-to-Peer (P2P) content distribution systems. Danqi has also interned at Microsoft Research Asia, contributing to research on incentive mechanisms in P2P file sharing systems. A collaborative project led by Danqi at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences during a Master's program resulted in the development of the VegaGrid P2P Live Streaming System.
