David Nelson

David Nelson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and strategy. Currently serving as Partner and President at DRW since April 2009, Nelson also heads Global Investments, Strategy, and Real Estate at the firm. Prior roles include Senior Managing Director and Head of Credit at PENTWATER CAPITAL MANAGEMENT LP from April 2006 to April 2009, and Partner at Wolf Point Capital MGT LLC from May 2004 to April 2006. Nelson’s earlier career includes senior positions such as Vice President in the Special Investments Group at PPM America, Principal at Catalyst Equity Partners LLP, and Associate at Zell-Chilmark / Chilmark Partners. An alumnus of Northwestern University, Nelson earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in Economics.
