Henry Treftz

Henry Treftz is an accomplished Senior Database Engineer with extensive experience in various database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, InfluxDB, and PostgreSQL. Treftz has worked at DRW since July 2008, supporting trading and clearing operations. Prior experience includes senior database engineering at LexisNexis Interface Software, where design, development, and performance tuning of SQL Server database objects were key responsibilities. As a part-time instructor at the University of Phoenix, Treftz taught SQL courses to undergraduate adult learners. Early career roles include data architect at Commerx, database administrator/systems officer at Chicago Title and Trust, developer at Duff & Phelps, and programmer at Waste Management. Treftz holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Benedictine University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
