Jarrell Waggoner

Jarrell Waggoner is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering for Unified Platform at DRW since January 2023, Jarrell previously held the role of Principal Software Engineer at Optum following the acquisition of Rally Health. At Rally Health, Jarrell was pivotal as a Software Architect and played a critical role in architecting the company's data platform. Jarrell has also contributed to various organizations, including Groupon, where responsibilities included solving data engineering challenges, and TerraStride Inc., as a founding engineer. Jarrell's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and M.E. in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina.
