Stephen Shepherd

Stephen Shepherd is an experienced professional in energy trading and analysis, currently holding the position at DRW since February 2022. Prior to this, Stephen served as a Market Strategist at bp from April 2021 to February 2022 and as a Senior Analyst at Citadel from January 2015 to November 2020, where responsibilities included maintaining coverage of US and Canada-listed energy exploration and production as well as metals and mining equities for a long/short energy portfolio. Additional experience includes roles as an Analyst at Millennium Management and as an Equity Research Analyst specializing in North American Exploration and Production at Simmons & Company International. Stephen began a career at ConocoPhillips as a Crude Oil Market Analyst and Pipeline Scheduler. An educational background in Finance and Economics was obtained from The University of Tulsa, where Stephen studied from 2005 to 2009.
