Prior to this role, Wei Yu worked at Citadel Investment Group from July 2011 to October 2012, focusing on high-frequency trading, options market making, statistical arbitrage, alpha modeling, backtesting, and infrastructure. Wei Yu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completed in 2011, and has a Master of Science (MS) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, obtained in 2006 and 2003, respectively.
