James Day

James Day is an experienced professional in the packaging industry, currently serving as Concept Design Manager within Group Innovation and previously as Design Development Lead for the Customer Value Team at DS Smith since June 2013. With a focus on product innovation and supply cycle optimization, James has played a key role in developing design solutions that enhance customer value. Prior to DS Smith, James founded Corigami Ltd, providing structural design solutions and prototypes for clients sourcing manufacturing overseas. James's career also includes roles as Product Manager at Smurfit Kappa and Packaging Development Designer at Safepack Ltd, where expertise in design and operational efficiency was established. Early education was completed at Crawshaw and Greenside in Pudsey.
