Roy Harmelink

Roy Harmelink is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management within shared service centers. Currently serving as Finance Manager at DS Smith since 2009, Roy leads a team of 25 FTE across various financial disciplines including Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, General Ledger & Reporting, and VAT Reporting. Additionally, Roy held the interim position of Manager during the SAP implementation project at the Shared Service Centre in the Netherlands, facilitating the coordination and support of the project. Previous roles include Coordinator of the Financial Shared Service Center, Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting, and Finance Accountant. Roy's educational background includes degrees in HBO Bedrijfsadministratie & Accountancy and an MBA in Moderne Bedrijfsadministratie, along with training in Economie en Administratie from Titus College.
