Simon Trobe

Simon Trobe is an accomplished logistics and supply chain professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Ocean and Solution Design at DS Smith PLC, Simon has been instrumental in managing teams to enhance ocean logistics and optimize network design. Previous roles include Director of Strategy and Transformation and Business Relations Director at DS Smith, where significant operational improvements were realized through comprehensive change management initiatives. Prior to DS Smith, Simon held the position of Group Commercial Logistics Director at Tesco PLC, overseeing global logistics operations. His career also includes leadership roles at APL, where Simon successfully managed substantial business units in India and the Mediterranean, and early experience at Mitsui OSK Lines in various operational and managerial capacities. Simon holds a Master's degree in Transport Policy and Management from North London University.
