We are skilled, experienced and motivated learning and development professionals with over 25 years’ experience in private and public sectors understanding the challenges facing leaders and managers today

To ensure quality and best practice advice and information, DS Training and Development is an accredited ILM Centre and delivers the Institute of Leadership & Management, level 2, 3 and level 5 management and coaching qualifications. Every person in the team is an approved tutor and assessor for these.
To support this we also understand the principles of employment law, compliance and legal requirements when managing people. 

Recruiting the right people for the role is essential in business today and we offer guidance and training on recruitment and interview skills. And if your managers have had little experience of managing people, we also offer training and coaching on managing performance issues, building a successful team and managing difficult conversations. 

But what about the rest of your team?!
We do understand that not everyone in an organisation is the manager! Having worked with SME and Corporate organisations has given us an understanding of the challenges staff can face day to day. Either when delivering excellent service on the telephone, staying professional and confident in face to face meetings and achieving deadlines and targets through time management and managing projects efficiently

We believe that training should be tailored to the needs of the individuals and organisations that we work with. To underpin this we base the content and our approach on pre-agreed objectives that have been discussed and agreed between managers and their staff that can be measured and reviewed at a pre-determined date following our meetings. There is little point in someone attending training if they have no idea why they are there and what they are expected to gain and implement as a result!
