Jesse Soares is the Fire Marshal for The Citadel Campus and currently serves as the Environmental Health Safety Manager. With extensive experience in fire safety, they have held roles including Fire Marshal in Fort Mill and Assistant Fire Marshal in Mecklenburg County, where they focused on fire prevention education and code enforcement. Jesse has a Bachelor of Science in Fire Safety Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from The Citadel. Additionally, they are a Fire and Life Safety Subject Matter Expert at DSA Engineering, consulting on various national fire codes and standards.
