dScerner stands out from other solutions still widely used in many companies, by providing analysts and decision-makers an environment where business or project "objects" and "jobs" can be defined and interrelated with an ample set of rules and functions, in just a few clicks. 

As soon an "object" is created, all relevant parameters become available for the user to set: construction time and cost, product, unit, supply, production or storage capacity, fixed and variable OpEx and market demand.

Besides duration and costs, "jobs" also offer the possibility to set their starting point, either as a given date, conditioned by the starting or ending of other "jobs" or as a function of other dynamic variables in the model.

Although most of the attributes of any project or business can be represented using the default variables of the "objects" and "jobs", dScerner also offers the modeller the opportunity to create "user variables" of any kind (numeric, logic, date, etc.) either single, as a time array or a table.

The software also enables analysists and decision-makers to represent with rigour any type of uncertainty identified in the project or business, offering a cluster of fully parametrizable probability curves.
