Markus Weiss

Markus Weiss is the EMEA General Manager for HP's Industrial Printing Direct Business. Leading this $0.5B business, Markus' passion for the print industry, developing deep customer relations, and his ability to build award-winning teams have fueled his career trajectory leading to his current role. Currently based in Stuttgart, he is responsible for driving the region's growth strategy as well as delivering HP's industry-leading solutions to the region. Devoted to print since graduating in Print & Media Management at the University of Media in Stuttgart, Markus later joined HP in 2006 after heading the Quality Management department at Sommer Corporate Media, now known as Elanders Germany. With almost 20 years in the print industry, Markus has held numerous leadership roles in Germany and the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Region in sales account management and operations, strategic accounts management and quality management. Markus extends his passion for print as he works intimately with customers and his team to drive sustainable growth with new applications and driving more efficient production processes for the customer. Markus currently serves on the Dscoop EMEA Advisory Board.
