Michael Zaruba

Michael Zaruba has a strong background in Java development, with experience in various roles and companies. Michael worked as a Java Developer at Broadleaf, Inc. since April 2019. Prior to that, they held the same role at DSFederal starting in September 2017. From December 2016 to August 2017, they worked as a Java Developer at TENAX Technologies, LLC. Additionally, they had a significant tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton from June 2014 to September 2016, where they were a Software Engineer and Senior Consultant supporting the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Michael began their career as a Systems Application Development Assistant at the University of Maryland from March 2010 to May 2014, where they developed and maintained J2EE web applications and worked on the security system using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL for Oracle database.

Michael Zaruba obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2015 and 2016, they pursued further education by earning a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, in February 2017, Michael Zaruba obtained a certification in CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA.
