Marcus Behrendt

Marcus Behrendt serves as the Managing Director and Managing Partner of BMW i Ventures, overseeing operations from Munich since August 2018 and concurrently holding the position of CEO at BMW i Ventures Inc. in Silicon Valley. Behrendt's extensive board experience includes memberships at DeepDrive, Bcomp Ltd, RLP, Alitheon, Inc., DSP Concepts, Inc., and previously at NAUTO and GenXComm Inc. Behrendt's prior roles at BMW Group involved significant leadership in User Experience and HMI concepts. Educational credentials include an Executive Education degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Dipl.-Ing. in Management and Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
