dSPACE Studio is an AIA award-winning Los Angeles and Chicago architecture firm specializing in contemporary single-family residences, interiors, and landscape design. Our portfolio includes a diverse collection of warm, modern urban dwellings and awe-inspiring vacation homes, united by a philosophy that blurs the line between architecture and art and embraces biophilic design to enhance health and wellness.

Through a collaborative process, each home evolves from spatial planning personalized to the client's needs and a site-specific approach to relate the structure to the land. Integrated interior and exterior spaces offer a multisensory connection to nature, encouraging outdoor living and improving indoor air quality. Light and shadow are artfully layered to naturalize the built environment, creating a sense of calm. Each house thoughtfully incorporates sustainable elements, where possible.

We are passionate about great design but also emphasize the craft of construction and clarity of purpose. The success of a project depends on details. From sourcing custom materials to designing furnishings specific to the space, we collaborate with fabricators and artisans to deliver innovative solutions. As Design Bureau observed, "For dSPACE Studio, no detail is too small."

Above all, we value our clients, many of whom return to build second homes with us. We encourage them to dream and make the process fun. Together, we create bespoke spaces that bring joy-homes that make their life better and become a meaningful part of their personal stories.

dSPACE Studio has been honored with numerous AIA awards, featured in multiple annotated books on modern design, and our work has been published nationally and internationally, including AD, Dwell, Interior Design, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, LUXE, Marie Claire Maison Italia, A Vivre, and The Local Project.
