Ricardo Salgado

Ricardo Salgado has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ricardo began their career as a Sales Manager at Vieira de Castro Produtos Alimentares SA in 1996. Ricardo then moved on to become the Managing Director at Associação Industrial do Minho from 2001 to 2005. After that, they joined TLCI as a Business Unit Manager from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they joined ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. as the Head of Global Operations, and later became the Managing Director from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 onwards, they worked at dstelecom, serving as a Board Member from 2014 to 2018, and then as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Currently, they are the Vice-President at AEMinho - Associação Empresarial do Minho since 2021.

From 1991 to 1996, Ricardo Salgado attended Universidade Portucalense (UPT). During this time, they pursued a degree in Gestão de Empresas (Business Management).
