Jan Bödecker

Jan Bödecker has a diverse work experience in the transport and logistics industry. Jan started their career as a Business Consultant at DSV in 2011 and worked there until 2015. In 2016, they held the position of Regional IT Manager for Africa and UAE before becoming the Regional CIO for Africa and Middle East. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Director of IT for the Americas before being promoted to senior director in May 2020. Prior to their time at DSV, Bödecker worked as a Consultant and Business Relations Manager at World Net Logistics (Pty) Ltd.

Jan Bödecker attended Lessing Gymnasium Norderstedt from 1991 to 2000, where they received an University access degree in Mathematics. Jan then proceeded to the University of Hamburg from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a Masters in Supply Chain Management with a field of study in Economics. Additionally, they obtained the following certifications: "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2019, "International Leadership" from DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in 2019, and "ITIL - Foundation" from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2017.
