Thomas Plenborg

Thomas Plenborg is a full Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the Copenhagen Business School. Upon receiving his PhD degree in 1996, he started a position as Assistant Professor and then became Associate Professor in 1999 before becoming full Professor in 2002.

Thomas Plenborg wrote his PhD dissertation on "The information content of accrual and cash flow based performance measures - from a Danish and US perspective". As part of his PhD education, he spent a year as visiting student at the Department of Accounting, Taxation and Business Law at the NYU Stern School of Business.

Outside his academic career, Thomas Plenborg is the co-owner and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Everyday Luxury Feeling A/S (Rosemunde Copenhagen).

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cowi Holding A/S and the Danish Center of Accounting and Finance as well as the study board at the Graduate School of Business, Copenhagen Business School.

Finally, he is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting and a reviewer at the European Accounting Review, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, British Accounting Review and Accounting and Finance.
