Umar Sheikh

Umar Sheikh is a finance professional with extensive experience in auditing and financial control. Currently serving as Group Financial Controller at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics since November 2021, Umar manages the financial performance of the Road Division, overseeing budgeting, reporting, and implementation of new systems. Prior to this role, Umar worked at PwC as a Senior Auditor, primarily focusing on audit services for large clients such as DSV Group, where responsibilities included auditing listed companies and managing client communication. Earlier experience at Deloitte involved customer management and the analysis of internal controls, while foundational roles at TDC Erhverv included sales consultancy and customer service. Umar holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration.
