Bryony Everett is the Global Programmes Director at DT Global UK, and has over 20 years’ experience managing and providing expertise to a wide range of donor funded projects across the innovation, livelihoods, environment, and agriculture sectors. She has an in-depth understanding of the interaction between impoverished communities, the state, and the private sector.

Bryony has played an instrumental role in the winning and subsequent successful delivery of large-scale programmes including the Climate Change Compass, which helped the UK Government monitor, evaluate, and learn from the International Climate Fund; and the Frontier Technology Programme, which applies frontier technologies to a range of development challenges. She was instrumental in pivoting the programme to Covid Action which has supported over 40 grantees on Covid related challenges. Bryony was also Team Leader of the £11m DFID funded Impact to Ideas programme, which stimulated innovation for low-income consumers in the areas of Energy Access, WASH and Climate Change Adaptation, focusing particularly on achieving impact at scale.

She is highly dedicated to delivering outcomes and combines technical expertise with management and leadership skills to win and deliver major programmes. She has strong commercial skills and has negotiated both small- and large-scale contracts with major clients and Consortium partners. She has strong contractual skills and has overseen the contracting of many small-scale grantees across the developing world with different insurance, duty of care, and safeguarding needs. Previously, Bryony contributed to the successful delivery of many long-term multidisciplinary projects including the 10-year DFID funded Western Orissa Rural Livelihoods Project awarded a green rating by the ICAI, and the EC Funded Kenya Arid and Semi-Arid Lands Programme.
