Stephen Boland is an implementation lead focused on public financial management and climate finance, currently engaged in the MFAT (NZ) Climate Flexible Finance Capacity Support Programme at DT Global from 2017 to the present. With 25 years of experience in research and policy development, including over 21 years in the Pacific Islands, they have contributed significantly to economic development, policy formulation, and project evaluation. Boland has also served in various roles, including as a senior policy and climate finance advisor, macroeconomic expert, and economic advisor in different capacities across the Marshall Islands and Tuvalu. They hold a degree from the University of New England (AU), obtained between 1999 and 2005.
