John Trimmer

John Trimmer is a Site Engineer with DT Infrastructure since October 2023, managing defect close-out, testing, commissioning, and handover for six station upgrades as part of the Sydney Metro Southwest project. Previously, John served as a Graduate Engineer during the same project, ensuring the successful upgrade of Dulwich Hill Station within a live Sydney Trains environment, following the acquisition of Downer's Infrastructure Projects division by Gamuda. From May 2019 to June 2022, John worked as a Building Cadet at Richard Crookes Constructions, contributing to the Sydney Modern Project and assisting with various site engineering tasks. John began the professional journey as a Maths Tutor at Math Whizzards from March 2018 to May 2019. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil with Architecture from UNSW and a Higher School Certificate from Sydney Grammar School.
