Jay Eum

Jay Eum is the Founding Managing Partner of GFT Ventures, a firm that invests in early-stage startups in the US and Israel focusing on AI and frontier technologies. Jay co-founded TransLink Capital and was instrumental in leading investments in several successful companies. Previously, Jay served as Managing Director of Samsung Ventures, establishing and managing U.S. operations for Samsung's venture capital investments. Jay began their venture capital career at Vertex Management and has held roles at various prominent firms, including Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company. Jay earned an MBA from Stanford University and holds an M.S/B.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University.
