Anthony Phillips

Senior Solutions Architect at Dtex Systems

Anthony Phillips has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Anthony began their career as an IT Analyst at Central Piedmont Community College in 1999. In 2000, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Cisco Systems, where they focused on Performance and Design Verification. Phillips then joined Time Warner Cable in 2002 as a High Speed Data/Digital Phone Support Specialist, troubleshooting telephony CPE and handling customer service escalations.

From 2005 to 2006, they worked at EDS/Bank of America as a Solutions Engineer before transitioning to a Network Engineer role at APM Terminals/Maersk Corporation in 2006. Later that year, Phillips became the Owner of Fillmax Solutions, LLC, where they contributed their entrepreneurial skills.

In 2007, they joined Wachovia as a Network Engineer, configuring T1 Frame Relay and PRI circuits and overseeing branch installations. Anthony was later promoted to Senior Telecommunications Engineer, mentoring colleagues and providing support for voice and data networks.

Phillips joined NETSCOUT in 2011 as a Principal Support Engineer, troubleshooting configuration and hardware issues for Cisco routers and switches. Anthony also served as a Team Lead for their support department. In their most recent role at DTEX Systems, Phillips worked as a Senior Technical Account Manager and subsequently as a Senior Solutions Architect.

Anthony Phillips has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Central Piedmont Community College.
