David Peterson

David Peterson has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Dtex Systems since May 2018. Prior to this, they served as Digital Video Engineering Manager at Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc. from September 2016 to March 2017.

Before that, David worked at Data911 for a significant period, starting as a Digital Video Senior Software Engineer from February 2007 to September 2012, where they were responsible for developing digital video software for police vehicles. David later became the Digital Video Engineering Manager from September 2012 to September 2016, leading both the software and hardware aspects of the Digital Video development team. David actively participated in strategic planning meetings and represented the DV projects.

Before joining Data911, David worked at Inpractis Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2003 to December 2006. During this time, they focused on defining, specifying, and authoring software for a golf swing motion analysis kiosk. David developed software that interpreted and analyzed data from high-speed cameras, radar, and sonar units.

David's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Network Equipment Technologies from May 2000 to May 2003. In this role, they developed embedded software for a real-time telecommunications CompactPCI multiprocessor platform. David also authored a GUI configuration application for system configuration remotely via TCP/IP.
