Dewayne Mitchell

DeWayne Mitchell is a seasoned meteorologist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior GIS Meteorologist at DTN since November 2018. Prior to this role, DeWayne held the position of Senior Meteorologist at Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. from December 2000 to November 2018 and worked as a Research Associate at the National Severe Storms Laboratory from June 1993 to November 2000, focusing on the development of automated algorithms for weather diagnosis using Doppler radar. DeWayne has a B.S./M.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Aided Technology - GIS from Oklahoma City Community College. DeWayne also attended Oklahoma Christian University from 1985 to 1986.
