Peter Luo

Peter Luo is currently the CEO of DTonomy. Prior to that, they were a Technical Team Lead at TVision Insights from April 2015 to June 2015. Peter was responsible for leading a team to build the first-generation product and developing the core compute vision module. Before that, they worked as a Leading Data Scientist, Software Engineer and Security Analyst at Microsoft from June 2014 to May 2018. During their time there, they designed and developed an algorithm/system that detects signs of vulnerability or exploits. Peter also mentored junior data scientists and interviewed 50+ AI/Machine Learning candidates. Their skills include machine learning, big data processing, security, front end development, and analysis. Peter has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Brightcove from September 2013 to April 2014, and as a Summer Intern at Honda R&D from July 2009 to October 2009.

Peter Luo completed a PhD in computer science at UC Davis, followed by a Visiting Student stay at the California Institute of Technology. Peter completed their undergraduate degree in software engineering at Zhejiang University.
