Aminul Islam has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as the Head of Studies for the Bachelor program in Mechanical Engineering and as an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark since October 2016. Previously, Aminul held positions as a Senior Researcher and Postdoc at the same institution from March 2008 to 2016. Additional experience includes roles as Program Manager and Project Leader at Sonion from October 2008 to December 2013, and as a Research Engineer at the Swedish LCD Center in 2004-2005. Aminul earned a Ph.D. in Two Component Micro Injection Moulding for MIDs from DTU in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2002, following an education at Mirzapur Cadet College.
